Sunny Days Ahead
I'm so glad you're here. It means you're already dreaming ahead to your next tropical getaway. I'm right there with you! Usually at this time of year I would be visiting resorts on site inspections getting ready for the next busy winter season. This year we are all grounded. No where to go, except our own dreams and memories. I like to take the positive outlook on life, and search for the light no matter how dark it may get. This has undoubtedly been the most challenging time in the travel industry, and we have all been pushed, and challenged probably more than we ever could have possibly imagined. But there's only one direction to go, and that's forward. I am happy to have been able to provide my clients with the best service I was able to during this time. I flew clients home early, was in constant communication with my clients who were away and with staff in destination. I managed all affected bookings and kept up to date with the ever changing airline.
This strange pause in travel has given me the opportunity to really think about what I do, how I do it and who I want to do it with. I know the brands which stood up during this time. I recognize the resorts who gave back to their local communities, who supported the travel advisors like myself, and who have now introduced amazing initiatives for their reopening. These brands will ensure guest safety while still providing an excellent vacation experience. My recommendations will reflect this trust.
